This is a run-of-river type hydropower electricity generation project under a BOT concession from the Central Water Resources Bureau of Taiwan.
The project is utilizing the potential resulting from the construction of Chi-Chi common diversion Weir project, which was built in December 2001. The Project Proponent is Minjian Hydroelectric Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of Dung-jin Enterprise Co. Ltd.
